Corrwg Cwtch at Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre is a cosy café bar tucked inside Ynyscorrwg Park, perfectly positioned for anyone arriving or leaving after a mountain bike ride or walk in the surrounding trails. Its location within the bike centre makes it a natural pause point for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a warm drink or a hearty bite before or after an adventure.

The café itself is a bit off the usual path—upstairs and somewhat hidden—so it rewards those who know where to look or don’t mind a short climb up steep stairs. This subtle tucked-away feel offers a quiet respite rather than a bustling hub, making it a welcoming stop for those who want to relax and regroup in a friendly atmosphere.

The staff here are notably approachable and attentive, bringing a local, down-to-earth charm to the experience. Coffee, especially their latte, is frequently mentioned as excellent, making Corrwg Cwtch a solid choice for anyone who appreciates a well-crafted cup to start their day or recharge mid-ride. Hot chocolates also come highly recommended, appealing to families or groups with varied tastes.

Food portions at Corrwg Cwtch tend to be generous, featuring classic, straightforward options including vegetarian choices that provide satisfying energy after time on the trails. Prices feel reasonable given the quality and location, and it’s convenient that parking fees can be handled directly at the café, removing some hassle at the start or end of outdoor sessions.

This spot feels most alive during daylight hours when walkers, cyclists, and campers use the café as a meeting point or pit stop. Those staying overnight at the nearby campsite value it as a reliable base for snacks and drinks without straying too far from their tents.

Overall, Corrwg Cwtch works best for people who enjoy active days out in the Welsh valleys and appreciate a relaxed café vibe that’s practical and welcoming rather than polished or trend-driven. It’s less about quick grab-and-go and more about lingering comfortably with good company and dependable fare amid the mountain scenery.

Love the cafe which is tucked upstairs, it looked closed but wasn't, just go in the front doors and up the stairs or left up onto the trellis and the main doors are tucked at the back right facing the mountain. Food is a lovely classic fare. Coffee is delicious and prices fair. Vegetarian breakfast was filling and nice. The staff were super friendly. You can pay for parking at the cafe which was £3 for the day. Ace

Perfect location for the start and finish of your ride. Just make sure you're back before they close! Loads of great food and drink options. The cafe is up a steep flight of steps so you'll have to be fit to get up there, or have a mate bring your order down!

I came for a mountain bike ride and came to the cafe at the end. Friendly Welsh service and good value. I would definately recommend visiting if you are mountain biking in the area. There is also a friendly bike shop underneath. The car park charges are £3 for the day which is reasonable I felt.
